For more than 100 years Ridgefield has celebrated our nation’s independence in a big way, and this year, America is alive and well this 4th of July in Ridgefield.
There is something for everyone to enjoy while in Ridgefield for the 4th – free outdoor entertainment, Fun Run, contests and games, foods and beverages, arts and crafts, a parade, and more. Did we mention the parade? After two years of restrictions, the Parade and celebration are back ON.

Did we mention the Parades?
The Pet and Kid Pre-Parade kicks it off at 10:00 AM. Kids that want to participate can meet at the corner of Pioneer and 3rd shortly before 10:00 AM. Wear your patriotic colors and parade for the spectators along the parade route. All tamed animals are welcome. Animals must be on a leash at all times and please be prepared to clean up after them.
Then comes the big Parade… the Ridgefield 4th of July Parade – Route can be viewed from 4th Ave and Division down 3rd Ave, to Pioneer and 8th Ave.
For the rest of the day enjoy the 4th of July Festival in Downtown Ridgefield. Food trucks and craft vendors along S. Main, Pioneer, and in Overlook Park. Children’s Activities go on all day.
Hi-Fidelity Entertainment will lead some street dancing in the plaza and street corner near Overlook Park, Country singer Spencer Fix will be on stage after the parade, and don’t miss the Pie eating contest at 2:00.
In the evening, the pre-laser light show and 4th of July Beer Garden are on tap as twilight hits Abrams Park.
Then the finale, the Laser Light is back. Seating opens at 8:00 pm, first come, first seat. The Laser Light Show begins at dark. Parking is available in Abrams or you can walk down. Bring chairs or blankets. The Center of the field offers the best viewing.
