Clark County Auditor Greg Kimsey is warning Clark County residents about a letter dated August 4th from the Washington State Department of Licensing incorrectly notifying vehicle owners that their personalized plates will be canceled.
Thousands of vehicle owners across the state are receiving these letters that concern personalized plates that had been transferred to another vehicle. (Is anyone else thinking 2BAD4U ;) ).
Vehicle owners should ignore this letter if it is dated August 4, 2021.
Clark County Auditor Greg Kimsey stated, “We recognize the distress this is causing vehicle owners. Department of Licensing is working to understand how the error occurred.”
If you don’t have a personalized plate, are you thinking of getting one now? If so, it’s not as easy as it sounds as many combinations are already spoken for or may even be banned.
But first, you have to think of something clever, but not too clever or folks on the road won’t be able to figure it out. :)
Here’s a few I’ve seen, just for fun.
