Parents don’t need to be tricky with this educational event. Your kiddos will not only have a great time at this family friendly activity, but they will also exercise those brain muscles a bit. Science in the Park is a special learning treat awaiting families who enjoy Vancouver’s summertime Noon Concert Series at Esther Short Park (W 8th Street).
From 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, during every Downtown Noon Concert event, children can experience hands-on crafts and experiments, all designed for fun and learning about water, nature and the environment. Science in the Park repeats every week on Wednesday, for six weeks beginning on July 9th.
Food vendors are also on-site providing a variety of tasty meal options. Parking is available on the street or at the parking garage, conveniently located next to Esther Short Park in downtown Vancouver.
So get out of the house and make your way downtown and spend a summertime day lunching, learning, and listening to some great music. Remember, Noon Concerts and Science in the Park are free!
