A Toast to the Holidays.

The Craft Winefest of Vancouver, best known for its inaugural June event in Esther Short Park in June 2013, will bring a holiday edition to the downtown Vancouver Hilton for one day only on Saturday, November 23, 2013.

The Holiday Craft Winefest of Vancouver is an opportunity to meet the wineries and vineyards in our region who are leaders of  the Washington wine industry. “The Holiday Craft Winefest will be about tasting the incredible array of wines made and sold in Clark County,” said Cody Gray, event organizer and co-owner of Choice Events, LLC. “But what’s most unique about The Holiday Craft Winefest is the concentration on wines that can’t be purchased at the grocery store, and ideal wines to share over Thanksgiving dinner or place under the holiday tree.”

With about twenty participating wineries, your local favorite should be there (Bethany Vineyards, Burnt Bridge Cellars, Confluence Vineyards and Winery , East Fork Cellars,  English Estate Winery, Heisen House Vineyards, Moulton Falls Winery, Olequa Cellars, and Three Brothers Winery) as well as other notable wineries from around the state. I’ve been wanting to visit Basel Cellars in Walla Walla (Voted best destination winery by Seattle Magazine), so I was excited to hear they are one of the participating wineries. And, while I’m sure the wine tastes better at the estate…in the sunshine…poolside… (yes, honey, that is called a subtle hint ;) ) I will definitely be saving some tasting tickets for my visit to their booth!

Aside from more than 20 of the most notable local wineries in attendance, and close to 80 wines offered, you’ll find local foods and local arts including distinctive wine packages, specialty cheeses, and wine related gift items from talented local crafters.

Holiday shopping with a glass of wine? Yeah, I think this deserves to be on The Best Holiday Bazaar List in Clark County, don’t you?

The Holiday Craft Winefest will be open from 1 pm to 8pm on Saturday, November 23, 2013 only. Tickets are $16 in advance, $21 at the door and includes entrance, Craft Winefest wine glass and 6 tasting tickets. For more information, visit The Craft Winefest of Vancouver online.
