Free Community Recycling Event.
Doorstop? Paper Weight? No…there’s a better way to give new life to your old electronics. Donate your old, unwanted electronics at the Clark County Skills Center Electronic Recycling Event on Friday or Saturday, January 11-12, 2013 and they’ll be used for learning!
The electronics gathered by the students at this event will be used as learning tools in the computer lab for the Information Technology Systems, Service and Support (ITS) program at the Skills Center. This is a two year program offered at the Skills Center for providing core skills and knowledge for employment in the technology field. What cannot be used will be cleanly recycled.
Items you can drop off for free include Computers and Laptops, Batteries, Circuit Boards, Cables and Wiring, LCD and CRT Monitors, VCR/DVD’s/DVR’s, Cable and Satellite Boxes, Fax/Printers/Scanners, Telecom/Network, Cell Phone/PDA/Phones, Keyboards/Mouse, Game Stations/Games, Commercial Electronics, and Point of Sale Electronics. (TV’s can NOT be accepted)
