StreamTeam, the volunteer-driven stream restoration program from Clark Public Utilities, is looking for volunteers to join them for a hike around the East Fork of the Lewis River watershed to help locate knotweed for future treatment. Training, equipment, and refreshments will be provided. Participants must be able to navigate uneven terrain, steep slopes, and walk through dense vegetation.
The upcoming event will be on Saturday, June 17, beginning at 9:00AM.
StreamTeam has more than 1,000 team members who donate over 3,500 hours of their time each year to save salmon. Contact StreamTeam at [email protected] for more information.
