Something For Everyone on the By Land and By Sea Road Tour

hey! sharing is caring :)

On Thursday, March 16, 2017 don’t be left behind for the “By Land and By Sea” On the Road Tour hosted by the WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardeners. This tour will take you on a well rounded adventure across Clark County.

Where will the tour take you?

First stop is Greene Jungle Farm, an Animal Welfare Approved farm using natural techniques that go beyond organic with an emphasis on sustainability. All of their animals are raised on pasture.

Next up is Pacific NW Best Fish Company, a family owned retail fish market offering wild-caught, regional seafood. We will learn how they process or smoke their fish.

Then the group will travel to the Northwest Organic Farm, a community supported agriculture venture where they grow some unique vegetables along with many varieties of tomatoes and garlic.

The tour will wrap up with a visit to NW Nut, where they roast their nuts in all kinds of glazes that they make in small handmade batches cooked in copper kettles.

Dress for the weather and be sure to bring rain gear and boots for mud. Group is meeting at 9319 NE Hwy 99 (Enterprise) at 9:00 AM sharp and will be returning at 5 PM. Click HERE to register ASAP. The cost is $30.00 and includes full tour, plus van transportation provided by Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Lunch will be on your own at The Pacific Northwest Fish Market Cafe’. For more information or questions contact Erika Johnson at 360-397-6060 ext: 5738 or [email protected].
