One of Vancouver’s most popular events, the Vancouver Rotary Foundation Festival of Trees celebration will begin on Friday, November 25, 2016, with the Community Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony and continues for three days!
There are lots of fun and festivities planned for visitors to the Festival of Trees. Of course, Santa, Mrs. Claus and the Elves will be there, as well as lots of live entertainment on stage including choirs and dance groups, rides on the Loci train engine, a Scavenger Hunt in the Trees – perfect for all ages – with a prize drawing for a winner, 12 beautifully decorated Christmas Trees on display in the Hilton (and a chance to win one, too!), and the Vancouver Farmers Market Holiday Market.
Festival Tree viewing will begin at 10:00 am on Friday inside the Hilton. The Community Christmas Tree Lighting festivities will begin at 5:15 pm in Esther Short Park.
