Head to Scented Acres Lavender Farm on Saturday, October 17th, 2015 from 10am to 3pm for a good old-fashioned fall festival.
Kids and adults alike will get the opportunity to churn butter, enjoy some freshly pressed apple cider, make ice-cream-in-a-bag, check out the antique corn-grinder at work, create a pine cone bird feeder, and find the perfect pumpkin in the patch just passed the lavender! You can even carve the pumpkin on-location. Mary’s Blue Ribbon Lavender Zucchini bread and hot cocoa will be on hand to warm the belly.
This is Sassy the miniature horse’s first fall festival, so come by and say Hi! While you’re at it, give the chickens some scratch, and feed the goats!
So many activities and so many things to see. Feel free to browse the gardens, or jump into the festivities full-throttle.
Admission is free, donations gladly accepted. The gift shop will be fully stocked, with Scented Acres line of products along with lavender treats to take home.
Pull out those scarves and boots and head to the farm!
