On October 3rd and 4th (8:00 am to 6:00 pm) be sure to come out to Ridgefield, WA for the BirdFest & Bluegrass Festival. This amazing celebration is put together by the Friends of Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge.
Fall is here and the wildlife that make the refuge their home are busy preparing for the coming winter, so this a lovely opportunity to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. You can stroll through the refuge area, enjoy music and food in downtown Ridgefield, get a change to chat with local guides and of course get a chance to spot some wildlife.
This event is for the whole family. Here are a few things to be sure not to miss: Stories/Crafts at the Library; Audubon Live Bird Show; Guided Family Bird Walk; Sandhill Crane Tours and Music from Kathy Boyd & Phoenix Rising.
