“It takes a village to raise a child.” Sound familiar? And while even Wikipedia says the exact origins of the saying have been lost in time, the meaning is still true today. MOMS Club of Vancouver-Northwest is a group moms, with kids ages newborn and up, offering support and friendship to each other.
One of their upcoming events is the Annual Vancouver Preschool Fair on January 22, 2011 between 2 and 5 pm, at the Three Creeks Library in Salmon Creek (800 NE Tenney Rd, next to Fred Meyer). This free event is open to the public and is an opportunity to gather information and compare programs on Vancouver area Preschools. Non-perishable food donations will also be accepted for the SHARE Backpack program.
