Rocksolid Community Teen Center will hold its 20th Annual Lucky Shamrock Auction online March 11-15, 2021. This auction supports the after-school program and is the Teen Center’s largest fundraiser of the year.
Online registration is currently open and free to everyone. Silent auction bidding begins March 11 and continues through March 15. Rocksolid Executive Director Marcy Sprecher and local business owner and philanthropist Russell Brent will host the live virtual show on March 13 at 7:00 pm, with a preshow beginning at 6:30 pm. Visit RockSolid Community Teen Center online for more information.
“We are excited to provide an online opportunity to share about our program and allow anyone, anywhere to donate. We rely on the support of sponsors, community donors, and individuals to keep our doors open serving the youth of our community. We hope those who value our program will share with others making our online event a success.” Marcy Sprecher, Executive Director of Rocksolid.
It’s been a challenging yet positive year for the Teen Center and Rocksolid continues to operate and connect with teens weekly via videoconference for games, crafts, cooking, movies, and general conversation and check-ins. Staff and volunteers look forward to safely re-opening in-person soon.
Contact Rocksolid office administrator Jessica Rudisill for registration questions at [email protected]. If supporters are unable to participate in the online event, financial donations may be made on the website.
Rocksolid Community Teen Center offers a safe place after school for grades 5-12 students in the Battle Ground and Hockinson school districts. The program emphasizes activities that foster healthy relationships, build business and leadership skills, encourage strong homework habits and allow students to thrive.
