The Secretaries of State for Washington and Oregon will visit Washington State University Vancouver Oct. 13 to discuss youth engagement in politics.
Washington Secretary of State Kim Wyman and Oregon Secretary of State Kate Brown will speak and answer questions at an informational seminar from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m. in Firstenburg Student Commons. They will also go head-to-head in a Jeopardy-style game about local events, “Are You Smarter than a Secretary of State?”
Candidates on the 2014 Clark County ballot will have information available as well.
The event is free and open to the public. The first 25 people in attendance will receive a t-shirt to commemorate the importance of voting.
