On January 29th, 30th & 31st make your way to Clark College, when sixty middle and high school jazz ensembles come together to perform at the Clark County for the Jazz Festival to compete for the top three jazz ensembles for all divisions. Individual outstanding musician awards will also be presented. At the end of Saturday evening, the Dale Beacock Memorial Sweepstakes Award will be presented to one outstanding band selected from the entire festival.
Thursday – Middle School Jazz Ensembles – 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Friday – A-AA Jazz Ensembles – 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Saturday – AAA-AAAA Jazz Ensembles – 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM
The previous year’s Sweepstakes Band holds the spotlight on Saturday evening at 9:00 p.m. General admission to the festival is $5 per day. Clark College students and children under 12 accompanied by an adult will be admitted free of charge.
The Clark College Jazz Festival will be held in Gaiser Hall on the NW corner of the main campus (located at 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver).
