Doernbecher Dash at Columbia River High School

hey! sharing is caring :)

Mr. Columbia River Pageant.

The Doernbecher Dash will take place on Sunday, March 27, 2011 and is a special fundraiser run/walk to benefit Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.

“Bring the entire family and help support such a great cause! Located in Portland, Doernbecher Children’s Hospital is a non-profit organization that has long been a source of hope for sick children and their families. By participating, you will help raise money for children who are in need of medical attention. This event is part of the Mr. Columbia River fundraiser pageant which raised $73,000 last year! Help us reach our goal of $100,000 this year! There will also be a donation box at the race, so bring some extra cash! Tell everyone you know to come participate!”, says Brian Piette, a student at Columbia River High School.

There will be a 1K Kids Run with a 9 am start time, for $5; a 5K Run with a start time of 9:30 am, for $12; and a 5K Walk starting at 9:35 am for $12.The Doernbecher Dash will take place at Columbia River High School (800 NW 99th St) around the chip trail and surrounding campus.

You can register the day of the race (beginning at 8 am), online (click here), or mail-in your registration. For more information, including the address for mail-in registrations, please call Jeff Piette at 360-574-8676.

And, sorry ladies, for those of you who were wondering, there is no swimsuit competition in the Mr. Columbia River Pageant!
