You are invited on Sunday, March 15th from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Cascade Park Baptist Church. Local, non-profit, Go Connect will be hosting their first annual jazz concert and dessert, benefitting their community program The Refuge.
Each year in Clark County, over 1000 high school students are not living in at home, they are hopping from place to place while they struggle to keep up and graduate. That is why Go Connect created a solution, The Refuge. This program houses homeless students in our community and matches them with host homes while they pursue their goals to graduate high school.
The concert will feature local artist Clark Bondy, an acclaimed jazz musician and teacher, performing an eclectic mix of jazz music. This FREE event is a great concert for the whole family.
Contributions to The Refuge will be accepted at the concert.
Please RSVP here if you plan on attending to help the organizers plan.
If you cannot attend you can help in a couple of ways…Go Connect is looking for dessert donations and financial partnerships. Please call or email David Bilby (360-433-5179 or [email protected]) to learn more.
