In Battle Ground, Summer is all about play… and the Summer Playground Program brings the magic of play to the Battle Ground community all summer long. This FREE 10 week summer program brings fun, recreational and organized activities to four local neighborhood parks on a weekly basis during the summer break. The program features weekly themed activities and provides kids the opportunity to make at least one arts and crafts project to take home with them.
These events are held Wednesdays – 10am-Noon at Kiwanis Park (422 SW 2nd Avenue) and Wednesdays – 2pm-4pm at Horsethief Park (1100 SW 24th Avenue). And on Thursdays – 10am-Noon at Florence Robison Park (1901 NW 9th Street) and Thursdays – 2pm-4pm at Cresap Park (1911 SE 2nd Place).
