Planters Day #94 – Something to Adore. What better way to begin your summer than with a visit to historic Woodland, Washington, for the 94th annual Planters Day Celebration June 16-19, 2016.
Planters Days, first held in 1922, is the longest continuously running civic celebration in the State of Washington. The festival is family centric, with entertainment for all ages.
The four day festival opens with the Carnival at Horseshoe Lake Park at 3 pm on Thursday. Other events over the four days will include: Thursday: Children’s Parade, Coronation, Fireworks; Friday: Carnival, Bingo and show events; Saturday: Grand Parade, Markets, and a load of great fun!; Sunday: Car Show, Raffle Drawing, Talent Show and Farmers Market. Plan to attend the annual Fireman’s Barbecue before cheering your favorite team on during the annual Bed Races.
