Savor the flavor at this November First Saturday event in downtown Ridgefield. Sweet, spicy-hot and even tangy chocolate options married with soft, smooth, flavor-filled local wines at Ridgefield’s Wine and Chocolate Extravaganza.
Sip delicious local wines paired with decadent chocolates or foods prepared with chocolate. Enjoy chocolate fountains, apple press for making apple cider, live music and candy jar guessing game.
This event is 21+ and will feature 13 SWW wineries under a big tent with heaters and seating for your comfort. The first 300 event-goers will also receive a hand painted wine glass prepared just for this event.
For the younger crowd, visit the Chickadee Art Festival sponsored by the Ridgefield Art Association at the Community Center. They can also participate in non-alcoholic tasting opportunities, art, and interactive activities!
This event will take place rain or shine (remember the heated tents?) from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Overlook Park (101 S Main St, Ridgefield). There is a $10.00 entrance fee which includes a wine glass and 3 wine tokens.
While your downtown, visit other local merchants for more chocolate tastings, wine and chocolate-based products and lots of specials. Chocolate maps will be available at Overlook Park and the Community Center identifying all of the activities around town.
