Clark County is the largest horse ownership county in Washington State, and for the third year in a row, will be host to the Washington State Horse Expo at the Clark County Event Center on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, February 15-17, 2013.
Featuring national clinicians and trainers, regional and local experts, fabulous resources on equine nutrition, rescue horse education, and many quality vendors. There’s also a full roundup of entertainment, including, Extreme Cowboy Races, Black Pearl Friesians, Mounted Shooting Demo, Cowdog Demos and plenty of activities for young cowboys ( and cowgirls) of all ages inside the Kid’s Corral.
New this year is the Buckaroo Bash Dance and Fundraiser on Saturday night beginning at 7:30 pm. “The Adopt-A-Horse Program is throwing a “bash” of a party in the Event Center hall to benefit their non-profit. There will be live entertainment by local singing star Carrie Cunningham and the Six Shooters. There will also be door prizes and a silent auction and food and drink available for purchase. All events will take place at the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds (17402 NE Delfel Rd, Ridgefield). Open Friday from 3 pm to 9 pm; Saturday from 9 am to 7 pm; and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm. Tickets are available at the door only for $10 Adults; $8 Seniors and Kids (although kids under 7 are FREE); parking $6.
