This weekend, Saturday, August 20 and Sunday, August 21, Washougal MX Park will be turning back the hands of time and holding the NW Challenge. This will be two days of moto – yesteryear, showcasing the bikes that we all grew up on.
The proceeds from the event will be going to SHARE for their Back Pack program. The hope is that the will event raise awareness of this program and the fact that kids go hungry every day in our local community. Plus there is a raffle for a chance to win a 1978 YZ 250 Yamaha. Restored and ready for vintage racing! 100% of ticket sales also go the SHARE Back Pack Program.
Want to make a weekend of it? There will be free camping on Friday and Saturday evening at the event.
On Saturday the Vintage MX/Euro Scrambles in “The Field” at Washougal Motocross park. Then on Sunday at the Washougal National MX Track the Premiere Classes for EVO, Revolution & Revo (up to 96’) go at it.
