On Saturday, February 18, 2017, join in the community effort and meet your neighbors while helping add 244 trees to the West Vancouver neighborhoods.
The Friends of Trees is hosting a neighborhood tree planting event from 9 AM to 1 PM and needs two types of volunteers…Pickup Truck Drivers and Planters.
Show up at 8:45 AM to the staging location at St Luke’s Episcopal Church at 426 E 4th Plain Blvd in Vancouver.
Wear closed-toe shoes and weather appropriate clothing and they will take care of the rest. Breakfast snacks/coffee, gloves, tools, and expert activity guidance will be provided. The planting starts promptly at 9:00 AM.
The neighborhoods that will be improved with new trees include: Arnada, Carter Park, Central Park, Edgewood Park, Fourth Plain Village, Fruit Valley, Harney Heights, Hough, Hudsons Bay, Lincoln, Maplewood, Northwest, Rose Village, Shumway, and West Minnehaha.

RSVPs are kindly requested for groups of more than 5 people.
If any volunteer is under 18 years old (and volunteering without a parent or guardian), you will need to bring a signed copy of the Youth Waiver to the event.
