If you think the Vancouver USA Marathon is all about running, then it’s time you experienced what it is really all about this weekend! The “Vancouver USA Marathon is all about community, running, walking and enjoying life!”
The event weekend includes a three-day VUM “Active” Expo (open to the public) held in the center of it all, Esther Short Park. All festivities will commence in this beautiful one-acre park located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. At the VUM “Active” Expo, you can shop amazing vendors, collect freebies, enjoy some music, cool activities, guest speakers, and the Summer Brewfest! The Summer Brewfest will be pouring liquid sunshine all three days and will have 50 different taps from 25 participating breweries.
Sunday is the day of the main event (Father’s Day ? ), with runners beginning at 7 am and ending with ceremonies and festivities at Esther Short Park. The course highlights the best that the Vancouver community has to offer, including historic sites, a National Park and the mighty Columbia River; click here for some key locations to cheer on our runners!
You’re welcome to bring the whole family down for live music, food and entertainment; and the Vancouver Farmers Market will be open for enjoyment, too!
