Editor Note: After publication of this post, we were informed that although this event source originally defined this as a public event, it is actually intended to be specifically for those residents of the Central Park Neighborhood ONLY. Please inquire with your own Neighborhood Association to determine when your Neighborhood’s next cleanup event will take place. Thank you for your understanding.
While we’re all secretly celebrating the fact that we won’t see another snow until next winter (fingers crossed), there’s one thing that makes spring kind of a downer: spring cleaning. “Does it bring you joy?” Who’s heard that lately?
If you’re doing some spring cleaning, the Vancouver Central Park Neighborhood Association just made it a little easier. They are having a Neighborhood Clean-Up Day on Saturday, March 30, from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM in the SE Corner of Hudson’s Bay High School parking lot.
Any items that are too big for curbside recycling are perfect for this day – sofas, lawn furniture, old bikes, mattresses, etc.
However, this is not the place for major construction items like roof shingles or concrete driveways.
Volunteers are welcome to help neighbors unload their vehicles.
Many hands make light work…and a clean neighborhood!
