The Southwest Washington Winery Association is pleased to announce Savor SW WA Wine, a first of its kind event highlighting the rapidly emerging Southwest Washington wine and food scene.
Showcasing wines from over fifteen Southwest Washington wineries and food from locally owned and operated boutique restaurants, the event will take place at the historic Pearson Air Museum on Saturday, May 11, 2019, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
With just 350 tickets available, the exclusive epicurean event aims to provide guests the opportunity to sip, sample, and experience the wines and food of SW WA while meeting and mingling with the winemakers and chefs behind it in a leisurely, uncrowded, unique environment.
The event is all-inclusive; all wine, food, coffee, and other event offerings are included in the ticket price. Once in the door, guests can simply focus on savoring the local wine and food scene, gathered conveniently together in one central location. Advance tickets are $75 or at the door $85.
Participating wineries include: Burnt Bridge Cellars, Columbia Gorge Vintners, Confluence Vineyards and Winery, Dolio Winery, Emanar Cellars, English Estate Winery, Heathen Estate Winery, Heisen House Vineyards, Maryhill Winery, Matranga Vineyards, Mended Oak Winery, Olequa Cellars, Pomeroy Cellars, Rezabek Vineyards, Stavalaura Vineyards, and Windy Hills Winery.
Participating restaurants include: Bleu Door Bakery, Elements Restaurant, Farrarr’s Bistro, La Bottega, and Tommy O’s.
This is a fundraiser for the SW WA Winery Association (501c6) showcasing the growing number of boutique wineries in Southwest Washington along with the growing number of local restaurants.
The SW WA Winery Association chose the historic Pearson Air Museum location for the first Savor SW WA Wine event because of its close proximity to Fort Vancouver, the site where in 1825 the very first wine grapes in the entire Pacific Northwest were planted. What better place to come savor the wines and food of Southwest Washington than just steps away from where Washington wine began?
