Upcoming dates:

If you have young kids who like to be outside and like stories, then you need to check out Reading in the Wild.

The City of Vancouver’s Water Resources Education Center offers a free, outdoor reading series for kids, from 3 to 6 years old, called Reading in the Wild. The program connects fun stories with nature activities.

Have fun sitting under a tree, listening to a story, then exploring the garden to play with plants, rocks, water or critters in the dirt.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during these activities.

Reading in the Wild will take place every Thursday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Water Resources Education Center (4600 SE Columbia Way). For more information, call 360-487-7111
