With the days getting shorter and nights getting longer, we are spending more time in darkness. December’s Second Saturday at the Water Resource Education Center on Saturday, December 8th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM is celebrating the Solstice and exploring different variations of light, shadows, and darkness with activities for all ages.
Why does it get darker earlier in winter? When will the light return? These are the answers that will be answered so be sure to bring your learning cap and get ready to expand your knowledge.
Second Saturday’s at the Water Resource Education Center are not only fun, but they’re also FREE! Each second Saturday of the month, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, kids, and their families are invited to explore a different topic through hands-on activities, games, and stories.
The Water Resource Education Center is located at 4600 SE Columbia Way.
