Ridgefield is all about community and what better way to connect with your community than to celebrate those in it as well as those around the world.
Join the community of Ridgefield on Saturday, September 7th for their second annual Multicultural Festival. Festivities will be part of the First Saturday event and Saturday Market taking place at Overlook Park. Activities will kick off at 9:00 AM and run throughout the day.
Learn the traditional heritage of Ridgefield and explore different cultures from around the world with music, dance, storytelling, sports, kids activities and ethnic vendors. Enjoy Indian food and BBQ, a Passport Activity exploring the history and customs of various nations, a Native American Village dedicated to the Chinook Indian Nation’s history in Ridgefield and many other opportunities to explore indigenous cultures.

11:00 AM – Maharaja Bhangra Indian Dance Group
12:00 PM – Tepeyac Pre-Hispanic Dance Group
1:00 PM – Spiritual Brothers Ghanaian Music, Dance and Magic
2:00 PM – Master Oh’s Taekwondo
Be sure to stop by the Ridgefield Community Library Family History Zone and DISCover Golf Course at Davis Park for all-day fun. Visit the Old Liberty Theater at 2:00 PM for a showing of Kirikou and the Sorceress and at 7:00 PM for Rumble: The Indians Who Rocked the World.
Windy Hills Winery will be hosting a wine garden opening at 11:30 AM.
