Natalia’s Café, local businesses, and the Downtown Camas Association invite you to a special event called “Carnival For Camden” this Monday, June 24 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Natalia’s Café (437 NE 4th Avenue in Downtown Camas) will host the event, which includes a Kids Carnival from noon to 5:00 PM, and a Silent Auction with wine and appetizers from noon to 7:00 PM.
Camden is a 4-year-old Camas resident who was just diagnosed with an inoperable and aggressive brain tumor called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). There is no known cure for DIPG.
“Camden and his family are well-loved members of Camas. His mom, Erin, works as a teacher/librarian at Grass Valley Elementary School; and his father, Jeff, works at Georgia-Pacific. Their other children, Kaden and Kennedy, are students in our Camas schools who have been raised to help and serve others.”
Now, it’s our turn to help serve them. “While we can’t take away the reality of what they’re facing, we can band together to help alleviate some of the financial burdens that will come.”
Please join us in helping this family. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to their family. Any contribution on your part is greatly appreciated by humbled and thankful parents who are faced with the worst nightmare a parent can imagine.
Carnival activities will include Carnival Games, Rock Painting and Bracelet Making with Anna Norris, Face Painting, Balloon Characters, Cotton Candy, Popcorn, and the fun and delicious Dippin’ Dots.
There is no charge for carnival activities; this is a donation based event.
The Silent Auction will feature wine, beer, and food provided by Camas restaurants. There is a $10 cover charge for the Silent Auction, which includes a free adult beverage.
