The annual Battle Ground Harvest Days tradition will continue and features three days of family-friendly fun and includes a carnival, parade, market and food vendors, live entertainment, firefighter combat challenge, and more! Activities will take place on July 19, 20 and 21, 2019.

The festivities will begin on Friday when the Carnival opens and with the Cruzzin’ BG Car Cruise from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM down Main Street featuring classic cars from 1978 and older. There is no pre-registration this year, so if you have a classic car you would like to show off, registration will begin at 2:00 PM and will be a “first in, first out” lineup. Cost to cruise is $20.

Saturday events will begin with the All-You-Can-Eat Firefighter Pancake breakfast will begin at 7:00 AM, and is located by the old Library along the parade route on Main St. Proceeds will go to the FCRC Family and Community Resource Center. Single tickets are $5 and a family ticket is $20. From noon to 4:00 PM Fire District 3 will be conducting a firefighter combat challenge competition, will have an engine, squad and truck on display and available for tour, and will also have a children’s agility course where aspiring future firefighters can show their own skills!



The Harvest Days Parade will begin at 10:00 AM, then a vendor fair and community gathering at Battle Ground High School from noon till 6 pm. “Harvest days will also have a community stage located at the high school on July 20th. Local groups and individuals will be performing on the community stage. The Battle Ground Drama Club Boosters will be running a Dad Joke contest, so bring your best dad joke and win the audience vote to claim the big prize and all bragging rights.

Also, the BGDC Boosters will be hosting a lip sync contest from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Entry is $15 per group and you can register by emailing [email protected] The evening will cap off with a community dance running from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. So brush up on your two-step and come meet your neighbor for a day of celebrating each other.”

Enjoy a free evening of live music and a skate / BMX / Scooter competition as the Extreme Tour will visit the Battle Ground Skate Park. “The Extreme Tour is a diverse group of people from all over the nation, who have combined their creative expressions to put together not just a show, but to create an opportunity to unite the community. The Extreme Tour will be bringing some of the nation’s best new unsigned, or recently signed bands to Battle Ground.”
