Camas’ quaint tree-lined streets are the perfect backdrop for the 11th Annual Vintage and Art Faire on Saturday, August 24, 2019, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on 4th Avenue and Birch Streets. With over 60 vintage and art vendors bringing unique, antique, and upcycled one of a kind items plus the amazing work from local artists, guests are sure to find something perfect to take home.
Carrie Schulstad, Executive Director of the Downtown Camas Associations (DCA) says, “This event is a great mix of relaxed and energized. It has a comfortable, strolling feel, but there is always an excitement when you are looking for vintage treasures or experiencing beautiful new art. The artists and vintage vendors love to chat with people about their art and unique offerings. We have so much local talent and it’s wonderful to see it showcased. We have live jazz music throughout the day that adds to the festivities. Our local shops are all open as well so it’s the perfect way to spend the day in Downtown Camas.”
Vintage vendors will have a variety of home and garden items, indoor and outdoor furniture and decor, clothing, jewelry, and accessories. Local artists will have professional quality paintings, metalwork, ceramics, garden art, photography, handmade jewelry, fiber art, recycled art, and more.
There will be several new vendors this year bringing new styles and designs to the faire. Guests will see electric Boho 70’s style vintage home accessories, furniture, textiles and decor, wood items such as boxes, shelves, and magazine racks and other reclaimed handmade wood items, silver heirloom rings made with rare antique demitasse spoons, and Steampunk jewelry.
Enjoy the musical stylings of jazz guitarist Bret Malmquist from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by Carol Rossio Jazz Trio from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM. Grab a bite at a local restaurant or enjoy one of the many fresh food vendors on hand.
