A Tail to Remember will be an entertaining evening with delicious food, fine wine and a chance to walk away with fabulous items from silent auctions, as well as a live auction.
This community event is the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society’s largest and most important fund-raising endeavor of the year. The dinner auction will be held at the Hilton Vancouver Washington this year, located at 301 W. 6th Street, Vancouver, Washington on Saturday, October 14, 2017. Doors open at 5:00 pm.
“West Columbia Gorge Humane Society continues to make great progress in our community by providing needed resources, partnerships, and a safe haven for animals while they wait for their forever home,” WCGHS Board President Misha Piccola said. “Funds raised by this wonderful event ensure we can continue to support our local community, offer homeless pets a place to call home for a bit, and continue to provide life-saving support to the animals in our care.”
Attendees at the Tail to Remember auction can bid on items donated by resorts, private individuals, artists and businesses from around the country. Packages up for bid include local staycations, beach getaways, hi-end electronics and more.
Board members and volunteers donate their time and talents to handle all fund-raising efforts by the organization, and money raised through the Tail to Remember auction directly benefits the homeless dogs and cats in our community. The West Columbia Gorge Humane Society is an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill organization and auction donations are tax deductible.
