Columbia Flyway Wildlife Show Free at the Water Center

The public is invited to view intricately carved wildlife on display Saturday, September 10, and Sunday, September 11, 2016, during the 29th annual Columbia Flyway Wildlife Show and Northwest Championship at the Water Resources Education Center. The show is free to attend and focuses on hand carved, textured, and painted wood sculptures of birds, fish, and mammals in fifteen competitive divisions.

Native American Heritage Celebration

Vancouver's Water Resources Education Center is moving its annual recognition of Native America Heritage month from a Second Saturday event to its own Saturday celebration, set for November 18. Attendance at the popular family-friendly event has grown greatly over the years, and this year's celebration promises some new features, as well as some past favorites.
