Neighbors on Watch Recruiting for Spring Training Academy

The Vancouver Police Department is actively recruiting citizen volunteers for its very successful Neighbors On Watch (NOW) program in 2017. Applicants should apply by January 19 to be considered for the Spring Training Academy. Positive relationships between the police, the community and individual citizens are extremely important and are vital to the success of Community Oriented Policing.

Now is the Time to Volunteer

Are you observant? Do you want to learn more about your local police department? Could you find four hours a month to help the community? If so, the Vancouver Police Department’s Neighbors On Watch (NOW) citizen patrol program may be a great fit for you. NOW is growing and additional volunteers are encouraged to join this wildly successful program. Applications for the next training academy will be accepted until July 21, 2016.
