Santa and Mrs. Claus will be the honored guests again this year at Battle Ground’s 28th annual Christmas Tree Lighting event. Scheduled each year on the first Friday of December, this year’s tree lighting will take place on Friday, December 1st at the Battle Ground Community Center located at 912 East Main Street in Battle Ground.
The Holiday Sip and Shop is a kick-off to holiday shopping in Downtown Camas on Thursday, November 16, 2017, from 4-9pm and a celebration of supporting local for the holidays. This event will feature holiday shopping specials, specialty cocktail tastings, treats, holiday music, seasonal street lighting, and festive cheer throughout town.
Help stamp out Hunger! As is tradition during the Holidays, Riverview Community Bank will be collecting your food and cash donations for area food banks with Riverview’s Fill-A-Bag program. Working with community businesses, the Fill-A-Bag program has made a significant contribution to our local food banks.
The community is invited to the 5th Annual Christmas at the Park event on Friday, December 2, 2016, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Esther Short Park, Propstra Square.
Several Local businesses have partnered with Share to host ‘Care for Share’ events requesting donations of food, clothing, toys and books from the community to benefit low-income and homeless individuals and families in Clark County.
“The need of individuals and families during the holidays is expected to increase once again this year and we are grateful to all the local businesses and organizations who so generously organize drives each year to benefit our clients,” said Diane McWithey, Executive Director of Share. “All donations are truly appreciated and will sincerely brighten the lives of men, women and children in our community.”
