Camas and the greater Clark County area is home to many talented local artists and this talent will be showcased for the “Plein Air and Art Event” for September 1st’s Camas First Friday. There will be many local artists on display, live music, and local activities through out the day and into First Friday evening events.
The “Small Town Summer Fun” The First Friday in August will be full of summer activities and celebrations in Downtown Camas. “Small Town Summer Fun” is hosted by the Downtown Camas Association and the downtown merchants taking place on Friday, August 4, 2017, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The much anticipated Annual First Friday Camas Poker Tour & Game Night returns on June 2nd from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. This family friendly evening, hosted by Downtown Camas Association (DCA) and sponsored by Camas Antiques, will include the Downtown poker tour and a number of other games throughout town.
Boomerang Fine Arts will kick off May by hosting artworks from a wide and diverse interpretation of the theme “Paper – Made, Formed and Simply Used Up.”
The Clark County Historical Museum (CCHM) has two events each month that you do not want to miss. This museum is a great resource about local history for our community, but supports local artists, provides educational opportunities and hosts traveling exhibits.
“Spring into History” with this family friendly celebration of Camas history and the coming of Spring. The festivities, hosted by the Downtown Camas Association, offers multiple activities that explore and share in fun and engaging ways.
Camas First Friday is a sweet event you won’t want to miss. Chocolate treats, fun themed activities, art shows, a romance movie, prizes, and more will all be a part of this 11th annual “A Chocolate Affair to Remember” First Friday event in Downtown Camas. Downtown businesses will be serving and selling chocolate delights and other romantic gifts with wine tastings and specials at select locations on Friday, February 3, 2017, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Head to downtown Camas, where First Friday participants will again be invited to solve the mystery of “CLUE in Downtown Camas” on January 6, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Find fun clues in participating merchants to solve the “Case of the Missing Cookies” and earn tickets to enter to win prizes! D

The exceptional artistic talent in Camas and surrounding area will be showcased for the “Plein Air Art Event” for Camas First Friday on Friday, September 2, 2016. Plein air artists will set up their easels in Downtown Camas and paint from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Plein Air is the French tradition where artists paint the landscape in the “open air.” Many other local artists and live music will be featured throughout downtown as well.
It’s the fun of First Friday again in Downtown. As you enjoy your time celebrating original art in a number of locations throughout our downtown, be sure to note some outstanding public art always on display. Three projects (Flying Umbrellas at Evergreen and Main, The Phoenix at 8th and Main, and Heart and Stone at 6th and Columbia) were commissioned by our friends at Vancouver’s Downtown Association. Downtown Property Owner Menashe Properties has added an outstanding piece recently at 11th and Main – titled ‘Uskudar’ – by local artist Lee Kelly.
