Going Back to Their Roots.
Battle Ground Harvest Days has been a Clark County tradition since 1960, and will take place this year the third weekend of July (hey, just like every year ;-) ) Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 20-22, 2012.
This year’s Harvest Days has been redesigned to be more of a “Family Oriented Fun Center” and is returning to the Heart of the Battle Ground area ~ to the east end of Main Street and the Old Town Battle Ground area. This is Battle Ground’s largest annual event and includes the Fred Meyer Grand Parade, Harvest Days Run, Market and Food Vendors, Live Entertainment, Bingo, Beer and Wine Garden, Harvest Nights Cruise, Family Fun Arena and lots more!
Battle Ground Harvest Days opening ceremony will take place at noon on Friday, and the three days of fun begins! Friday the Battle Ground Chamber of Commerce presents the Harvest Nights Cruise in honor of Officer Mike Molzahn. “Kustoms, Hot Rods, Classics, “Choppers” and Two Wheeled Classics are invited to participate. BBQ will be provided by the Battle Ground Elks Lodge and the Battle Ground Rose Float will be on display. Come out and listen to Flashback Entertainment! You can Cruise to the Tunes at 97.9FM. Harvest Night Cruise shirts will be available for purchase with the proceeds to benefit the BG Youth Suicide Prevention Program “A Walk to Stop”.” ~Battle Ground Chamber of Commerce
