Race for the Homeless

Last year Race for the Homeless raised $8,000 for Open House Ministries to help homeless families regain their independence…lets gather together take it to the next level!!! On August 5th, starting at 8:00 am, join in to “Race for the Homeless”, the 18th year here in Vancouver, WA. There will be a 5k walk or run, 10k run and kids fun run. And be sure to stick around for the after party!

Race for The Nations

On July 15th come out for Race for The Nations, a 5K fun run that is great for walkers, runners, and families that supports a great cause. This fundraising event will take 100% of the proceeds and use it to fund the work of the Agape Project.

Run Like A Girl

On June 11th come out to support Second Step Housing and show the world what it means to Run Like a Girl! For the past 6 years, this event has encompassed the mission of empowering homeless individuals and families. Run Like a Girl is another way to help build confidence, strength, and balance, helping to prepare our residents for life’s many challenges.

Making Great Strides in Vancouver

Vancouver will host Great Strides as part of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s largest annual fundraising event on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 9 am at Esther Short Park. Walk day is a fun, family-oriented event with a healthy 5k walk, children’s activities, food, and festivities.

7th Annual Hike on the Dike

West Columbia Gorge Humane Society is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill shelter, established in Washougal in 1994. Programs and services are supported largely on volunteers and donations. Get outside for some fresh air, and help our feline and K9 friends!

Walk for the Animals!

Stretch those legs, find that leash, and get outside to help the 8,000+ lost, injured, or orphaned animals that find a temporary home at the humane society each year.
