Pirates in the Plaza is back in Downtown Washougal!!
This FREE community festival features music, food, beer garden, dancing, sword fights and so much more.
Gather up all your buccaneers and scalawags, dress in your pirate best and come on down on August 26th (4:00 pm – 10:00 pm) to Reflection Plaza in downtown Washougal.
Entertainment will feature the mayhem of Bilge Rats & Pyrettes, the Renegade Rose Dancers, Juggler Curtis Carlyle, Jamba African Marimba Band, Washougal’s Daley Dance Academy and Eartha the Clown.
Little lads and lasses will have plenty to do with activities and a kiddo costume parade. Plus they will find some adventure trying to seek some free pirate booty.
Older pirates will have a chance to get a bit rowdy as the candles burn down in the “grog garden”, including brew from Doomsday, Amnesia and 54-40.
Event and grog sale proceeds will again this year benefit the Inter-Faith Treasure House.
The concert is free, but all those who attend are encouraged to pillage their pantry and bring items to donate for the Treasure House’s Backpack Home Program that helps to feed Camas and Washougal school kids.
