People age 50 and better are invited to ring in the New Year with the sounds of yesteryear at Vancouver Parks and Recreation’s seventh annual Swinging in the New Year’s Eve Dance Thursday, December 31 at the Luepke Senior Center, 1009 E. McLoughlin Blvd. in Vancouver.
Guests can dance to great live music by the Beacock Dance Band, while enjoying light refreshments and party favors. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $15 for City of Vancouver residents and $18 for non-residents. Advance registration is required.

The Swinging in the New Year’s Eve Dance is one of two dances hosted by Vancouver Parks and Recreation’s 50 and Better Program each year. The Senior Prom is held every spring.
