Clark County Community Development director, Mitch Nickolds recently announced that Susan Anderson has accepted the position to manage the County’s Animal Protection and Control and Code Enforcement Services departments.
Susan recently served 13 years as Senior Deputy Fire Marshal in the Clark County Fire Marshal’s office. According to the County, Anderson’s 22 years of experience in code administration and 10 years of local animal welfare makes her an exceptional choice for the position. Anderson has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Oregon State University and is currently working towards her masters in public administration.
In taking on the position, Susan said, “I look forward to fostering partnerships that will support our agency in providing quality services to enhance the lives of people and their animal companions.”
