hey! sharing is caring :)

Newly Renovated and Open to the Public.

Just 30 minutes northeast of Vancouver, Wash., near Battle Ground and Brush Prairie, the 63-acre Alderbrook Park is well known as a popular wedding and event venue because of its expansive forest, inviting fields, beautiful lake and dock, two bridal houses, myriad of reception areas, parking for 1,000 cars and capacity for 6,000 people. The expansive park also includes a swimming pool, a miniature golf course and a volleyball court as well as children’s amenities including a maze and a life-size pirate ship play structure.

Celebrate the 4th of July at Alderbrook Park with Bounce Houses, Train Rides, Horse Rides, Pedal Boats, Fishing, Sports and more! Admission is $5 per person (under 3 are free) and rides and entertainment are free with admission. Concessions will also be available.

Alderbrook Park will also be offering a first-ever opportunity to enjoy live music and food on the beautifully forested grounds. The four-week concert series will be held on Wednesday evenings (July 13, 2011 through August 3, 2011) and feature family-friendly music representing a variety of genres. Bring your blankets and beach chairs to relax and enjoy the music. A variety of food booths will offer local picnic favorites and there will be a beer garden for adults.

“These concerts will provide visitors and locals alike the chance to experience this beautiful private park,” said Kim Bennett, president and CEO of the Vancouver USA Regional Tourism Office.  “The public will also be able to see first-hand the upgrades and renovations that have been made at the park, which is an ideal location for any event, from weddings to corporate picnics.”

Tickets will be on sale starting July 1 from Brown Paper Tickets (www.brownpapertickets.com/). Bring the whole family for $30, or $10 for individuals and $5 for children under 12.
