September 11th is a very difficult day and this day, of all days, it is important to show that WE STAND UNITED that WE WILL NEVER FORGET the lives lost and the daily sacrifices made by those that keep us safe.
So here is an opportunity to show the community how you feel. Pick up your American Flag and join “Race to Remember United We Stand“.
On September 10th, in honor of the day, come out to the 5th Annual Unite We Stand Community walk/bike/run event at Esther Short Park.
Arrive at 8:30 am so you can take part of the opening ceremony at 9:00 am and be ready to start the race at 9:11 am.
This is a self timed race and for those that pre-register will have their reported time published online.

All participants will receive dog tags and refreshments.
This year’s event is donation based and money will be donated to local police and fire departments.
