The month of February is known for sharing love and kindness, and not just on Valentine’s Day. Help celebrate Beacock Music’s Love Your Pet month by supporting their fifth annual Pet Food Drive during the entire month of February.
Each year Beacock Music holds a pet food and supply collection for some of the small, no-kill shelters in the Vancouver area. The dogs and cats at Furry Friends Cat Rescue and Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue waiting for adoption can use your help!
All food and supplies are welcome but the Furry Friends preferred brands are Natural Balance Ultra (dry) and Natural Balance L.I.D. (limited ingredients) in cans, or Premium Edge (dry) and Chicken Soup for the Soul Kitten (dry). There are also baby kittens who are being bottle fed (where can I sign up for that? :) )and in need of KRM milk replacement in cans or powder.
Mostly Mutts donation wishlist includes grain free dog food, puppy food, beds, blankets, water dishes, and of course, TOYS!
Cash donations and gift cards to feed stores, pet stores, Chewy.com and Amazon.com are appreciated as well.
Bring donations directly to Beacock Music (1420 SE 163rd Ave. in East Vancouver) any time from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday through Friday; 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturdays; and from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm on Sundays. With your donation of pet food, supplies, or cash you can receive a complimentary 12 oz. Stumptown latte, Americano, drip coffee, or cappuccino from the Standing Ovation Café.
