Enjoy local culinary and enological delights at participating wineries throughout Clark County during the Labor Day Weekend Food and Wine Pairing Tour, September 2-4, 2017 from noon to 6:00 pm.
The weekend is also the last chance to complete the region’s “Summer Passport Challenge,” where wine-lovers collect stamps at all 10 participating wineries. All who complete the challenge will win a prize and be entered into a drawing to be held after Labor Day. Free passports are available at participating wineries and Southwest Washington Winery Association.
The Southwest Washington wine region is home to nearly two-dozen family-owned, artisan wineries and vineyards. All produce fewer than 1000 cases per year, which means wine-makers are frequently pouring their own wines. Many of the tasting rooms are located on site with mature and developing vineyards.
Don’t fight traffic Labor Day Weekend. Stay local and tour the participating wineries and see how wine and food truly do complement each other. Nominal tasting fees vary by winery.
