Second Saturdays at the Water Resources Education Center are not only fun, they’re free!
This is a great weekend event from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, where kids and their families are invited to explore through hands-on activities, games, stories and more.
On September 9th, the Second Saturday event is part of the annual Columbia Flyway Wildlife Show.
So mark your calendar to bring out the whole family for this annual wood carving show for various bird-related activities.
You can create a bird feeder to welcome wildlife to your backyard, enjoy free seminars and demonstrations or check out the art show of wooden sculptures of birds, fish, and mammals in fifteen competitive divisions.
Please note…children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
