Second Saturdays at the Water Resources Education Center are not only fun, they’re free! March Second Saturday will Celebrate World Water Day from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm where kids and their families are invited to explore a different topic through hands-on activities, games and stories.
“Join us for a celebration of World Water Day! In 1992, the United Nations created World Water Day to celebrate and focus attention on the importance of our planet’s most important resource—water! We’ll ‘dive in’ with activities for the whole family focused on learning about where our water comes from, how communities around the globe get water and how we can all work together to promote clean and plentiful water. Join us for hands-on science activities, crafts, and a short ‘Walk for Water!'”
Second Saturdays are held at the Water Resources Education Center (4600 SE Columbia Way’ Vancouver, Washington), 360-487-7111.
