Lavender Ice Cream, U-Pick, Alpacas, and More!
Scented Acres is hosting its Eighth Annual Lavender Festival on Saturday, July 13th from 10am to 6pm. Admission to the farm is free; goods and classes will be available to purchase. There will be farm animals to visit with, the bird and butterfly gardens to explore, craft classes, local vendors, a stocked gift shop, and Lavender goodies, including their ice cream, with this year’s feature… Lavender Raspberry Sorbet!
The farm’s own goats and chickens are already getting excited for the event, and the much loved alpacas will be back. The star of the day is sure to be the baby alpaca, who will be batting her three-inch eyelashes at all who come near!
Back by popular demand is the Rogue Bluegrass band. They will be playing from 12pm to 2pm, so put your dancing shoes on!
