Salmon Creek Soccer Club (FCSC) recently set the schedule for advanced level tryouts for the 2019-20 season. The tryouts will be held at King’s Way Christian School on various dates from May 6-21, 2019.

FC Salmon Creek has been known for developing quality athletes over the past several years.

The FCSC advanced Girls U19 team, comprised of many local high school seniors, recently completed their scheduled season and will be wrapping up their years of representing FCSC in competitive play. Of the rostered players on that team, every single player who is going to college – more than a dozen girls – has committed to play soccer at the college level, an unprecedented level of success for a local program.

Local High School players who have committed to play soccer at the college level from this team include:

MacKenzie Ellertson (King’s Way) – Washington State University
Jenna Efraimson (Camas) – University of Idaho
Liz Canton (Columbia River) – Central Washington University
Jazzlyn Paulson (Camas) – Simon Frasier University
Caillie Rheaume (Camas) – Hawaii Pacific University
Justine Pauly (Camas) St. Martin’s University
Malaika Quigley (Prairie) – Southern Oregon University
Ally Turkington (Battle Ground) – Evergreen State College
Maddie Goss (Union) – Clark College
Brin Wolvert (Union) – Clark College

That team was coached by Tina Ellertson, a four year US Women’s National Team member and Women’s World Cup 2007 participant. While this group of athletes will be moving on, Ellertson remains with the Salmon Creek Club, serving as Assistant Director of Coaching, Youth Academy Director, and Head Coach of three advanced teams.

There are a series of Kickarounds scheduled before tryouts, and the offical tryout schedule is posted here.

Good luck to the next generation of FC Salmon Creek stars.
