Silent Auction for Kids in Need.
Help Felida Neighborhood Association fundraise for a 2013 holiday event for kids ”in need” and with “special needs”. Everyone is invited to join in a Silent Auction at Salmon Creek Chucks, on 119th Street, on Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
Many great items will be available for bids, including: vacation packages, gift baskets, baby blankets, restaurant certificates, and many more choices — just in time for holiday gift exchanges. Come visit them in the classroom, checkout great produce and deli departments, and have a cup of coffee or a sandwich as you place your bids. They will be closing bids at 4:30 pm, if you can’t stay till then and are the winning bidder they will even give you a call and deliver.
In addition, there will be a donation box if you wish to donate toys, books, school supplies, hats, gloves, or scarves for kids.
Felida Neighborhood Association is a nonprofit, tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) organization lead by a board of volunteers. There is no steady source of revenue. Therefore, fundraisers, such as this silent auction, are needed to accomplish community projects.
